			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A collection of looks into the future by a variety of voices. I find it strange that the future is both nothing like and exactly what we imagine it to be. The popular trends for future applications seem to remain popular enough to emerge but the ways in which they are executed tend to be radically different than the first visions. Without a doubt we will look back with humor at what we thought the future might be. As an exercise to see where my research may find applications in the future, I thought it would be helpful to look at what others are imagining.  </p>
